Day 3 – Bayerebon No.5 in Pictures Today the medical team moved to Bayerebon No. 5 , a village within the Bibiani area, with an average population of about 1,000 people including children. Two other surrounding villages; Bayerebon No.1&2 and Bayerebon No.3 with populations of about 300 and 800 respectively, also attended the medical outreach at Bayerebon No.5 village in their numbers.

The day started with members of the village listening to a health talk. Health talk being facilitated by Mrs Augustina Durowaa Theovision team strategizing for the day’s activities A student volunteer helping to set up the pharmacy station Theovision media team setting up the generator for use during a power outage. This is Grace, a young girl that was suffering from a skin condition being attended to. Theovision team resolving a misunderstanding between 2 patients A rep from NHIS speaking to patients waiting in line about the importance of having Health Insurance NHIS reps registering the children under the National Health Insurance Scheme Women with their children waiting patiently to be registered under the NHIS Smiles on the faces of some women who came for the medical outreach A child being dewormed Diana, a volunteer distributing clothing to patients who have already received treatment The day comes to a very successful end, and patients return home satisfied
