Theovision Kenya Celebrates 22 Years Anniversary!

The Kenya Office of Theovision International has celebrated 22 years of commencement at a special thanksgiving ceremony in Nairobi, Kenya.

The occasion was marked with songs of thanksgiving to God for his protection and provisions, presentations of impact stories and testimonies from the field, and an appeal to stakeholders particularly the church for stronger collaboration to take the Gospel to the remotest parts of Africa.

The Country Director of Theovision Kenya, Helen Etyang' who has worked with Theovision for 22 years, was grateful to God for how far he has brought the organisation.

She said Kenya has recorded audio Bibles in 33 languages and established 1,760 Bible Listening Groups in East Africa. The countries include Kenya, Uganda, Ethiopia, Sudan,  South Sudan, Tanzania and Botswana.

"We have also distributed 7, 460 audio Bibles to various communities to facilitate the hearing of the word of God in the mother tongue," she said.

In a speech read on his behalf by Pastor Theodore Dzeble,  Group Leader of Communications at Theovision International, Rev. Dr. Theodore Asare,  Founder and President of Theovision commended the Kenya team for their commitment and motivation to take the word of God to remote parts of East Africa in spite of the risk to their lives.

"Our vision is to create opportunities for all  Africans to have unrestricted access to the word of God so all may hear God's voice and be transformed," he said.

Mr. Patrick Owusu Yobo, Theovision's Group Leader (Finance and Fundraising) made a cash donation of 10, 000 USD on behalf of the Ghana Office.

Several  guests pledged  their support for the activities of the ministry to enable it achieve its objectives.
