Theovision has held a three-day thanksgiving retreat to round-off the year's activities.
The staff gave thanks to God in songs, worship, testimonies and prayers for his immense goodness, guidance, protection and provisions throughout the year.
It was indeed a really special time in the presence of the Lord as the staff testified to the many deliverances and breakthroughs they were privileged to enjoy from the faithful God in the course of their work.
Theovision staff often put their lives at risk with numerous travels to very remote, dangerous terrains in Africa to record audio Bibles or to set up Bible Listening Groups to propagate the word of God among natives.
These travels could be dangerous and life- threatening. Hearing some of these dramatic testimonies from staff showed how good the Lord has been to Theovision.
Speaking on the theme of thanksgiving, Prophet Francis Duodu of the Christian Redemption International Ministry, exhorted the staff to be thankful to God in everything. He said thanksgiving opens the door to the supernatural.
He urged the staff to live a life of gratitude and thanksgiving in all things for that is God's will concerning all his children.
Theovision used the occasion to recognise and appreciate hard-working staff who exceeded expectations during the year.
The awardees include William Amenyemor, Abigail Amegbor, Emmanuel Amoah, Samuel Laryea, Emmanuel Danquah, Veronica Osei Boama, Maame Sintim, and Daniel Antwi. They received an undisclosed amount of money for their hard work.
The Presidential Award for Excellence was won by Blessed Nana Sei. The award is given to staff who advances the organisation's vision and mission in a unique and transformative way.
The organisation has since closed its offices for the Christmas holidays. Work resumes on the 6th of January, 2025.
