Theovision International has partnered with the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) to reach people in the Wonjuga and Chiripone villages in the Northern Region in line with its mission to reach the unreached with God’s Word in their mother tongue.
GHAFES is a non-denominational movement of Christian students in tertiary institutions in Ghana aimed at making Christ known in the various tertiary institutions and in rural communities too. They achieve this by engaging willing students in Short Term Involvement in Community Service (STICS). So, having access to the audio Bible in the Anufu language is a boost to their evangelism efforts which have been greatly challenged by language barrier. Also by the fact that many people in the villages cannot read or write.
The team from GHAFES was excited and fired up to work with the audio Bibles they had been equipped with to bring many others to the saving knowledge of God available to His people through His Word in their own language.
With the introduction of the audio Bible in the Anufu language, we strongly believe that many more natives of Wonjuga and Chiripone villages will listen to and have a better understanding of God’s Word and be transformed.
